1895 – Ernst Sachs and Karl Fichtel found the “Schweinfurter Präzisions Kugellager Werke Fichtel & Sachs” for precision bearings.

1903 – One speed torpedo freewheel hub

1927 – First world-cup for the torpedo freewheel hub with driver Alfredo Binda

1937 – Saxonette, 60 ccm motor with Torpedo freewheel hub

1987 – Mannesmann takes over the SACHS company

1997 – SRAM takes over the entire bike-component division of SACHS and continues it under their name

2011 – SACHS is acquired by ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Sachs Performance – clutches and suspensions for cars

2018 – Start SACHS MICRO MOBILITY – Joint Venture of ZF, BMZ, Magura and BFO – Eurobike Friedrichshafen

2018 – SACHS RS: First drivetrain system for E-bikes

2020 – ZF Friedrichshafen AG takes over all joint-venture shares

2021 – Renaming of ZF Sachs Micro Mobility GmbH to ZF Micro Mobility GmbH
